RANGE DESCRIPTION:
Open to Public. Membership not required!
Our 13 lane, 75-foot pistol/rifle ranges accommodate handguns and rifles under 50 caliber.
We also have 3 additional pistol rated lanes on our exclusive Live Fire Simulator. (No Black Powder or Pyrodex permitted in the Live Fire Simulator.)
The ranges are state-of-the-art including target retrieval & bullet trap system.
Our range is also equipted with a state-of-the-art ventilation system – designed to exceed OSHA/EPA standards which ensures that lead dust and burnt powder move down range – AWAY from the shooter!
REGULAR DAILY PRICES:
Rates prorated in 15 minute increments after first hour
Non-member range rental rates:
$15.95 per hour range rental
$ 7.95 per extra person on same range, 2 guest limit
(LIMIT 2 per lane inside the range at a time.)
Gun rental: handgun - $9.95 per session; rifle/shotgun - $14.95 per session
$6 per hour archery range rental
We encourage all patrons to become members of the Lauhorner
shooting sports family. Typically, most memberships pay for
themselves after 3 to 4 visits.

OTHER RENTAL AND PURCHASE POLICIES:
Gun rental fees credited towards purchase of any firearm the day of rental.
Live Fire Simulator: $25 per half hour session, including range master & computer operator. Ammunition must be purchased on site from Lauhorner. Member discounts on Simulator use.
*Must have CCW or equivalent safety card for some scenarios.
SPECIAL NOTES:
• EYE and EAR protection are MANDATORY for the safety of our patrons.
• Steel shot, unjacketed and steel ammunition is prohibited
on ranges.
• All pricing and charges subject to change.
• Passes subject to same conditions as member benefits.
• Member benefits and rates not applicable to league or other special shoots when a separate entry fee is charged.
Indoor Range Rules
- No pregnant women allowed on the range at any time.
- Approved eye and ear protection must be worn at all times on the range.
- Each shooting point is limited to two shooters per lane at a time. One other person may rotate onto the range from the observation counter.
- Steel, armor piercing, tracer, military surplus and unjacketed ammunition are prohibited. Ammunition will be inspected and tested by range officers. Violations will result in permanent prohibition of range use and civil action for any and all damages caused by the violator.
- Only regulation paper targets are allowed for use on the range. Non-paper targets must be purchased from the range and then Range Officer reserves the right to prohibit targets that are deemed offensive or unsafe. Shooters must use the appropriate sized targets placed at eye level to assure the bullets enter the bullet traps at the proper angle. Rifle and shotgun shooters must use a large silhouette target.
- Shooting across lanes, at target carriers and/or other range is prohibited. Violations will result in permanent prohibition of range use and civil action for any and all damages caused by the violator.
- Any firearms that are uncased are to be unloaded, with the actions open and kept pointed in a safe direction.
- Only loaded firearms when on the firing line, keeping the muzzle pointed downrange at all times.
- No handgun drawing from the holster without prior approval from the Operations Manager.
- If you have a malfunction or jam that you cannot clear, lay the firearm on the bench keeping the muzzle pointed down range, and ask the Range Officer for assistance. NEVER REMOVE A JAMMED OR MALFUNCTIONING FIREARM FROM THE RANGE WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE RANGE OFFICER.
- When finished shooting, unload and case your firearm before leaving the shooting position. Pick up only your brass that is behind the firing line. You may leave brass you do not want to pick up.
- NEVER EXTEND ANY PART OF YOUR BODY FORWARD OF THE FIRING LINE FOR ANY REASON.
Always follow the NRA rules for safe gun handling:
Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
Always keep gun unloaded until you are ready to fire.
Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.

MEMBER BENEFITS INCLUDE:
- Shoot 1/2 price ($5.50 per hour) on Monday and Tuesday 10am to 9pm EST (except Monday holidays when member day is moved to Wednesday) in 30 minute intervals, based on availability. Save $10.45 per visit. Extra person on same lane is $4.00 per hour.
- Wednesday through Sunday- Member discount range rate of $10.95 per hour, which saves $5 per visit.
